Sonos & In-Ceiling Audio
Whole-home audio is a wiring job that happens to end in speakers. Get the runs, the amp channels and the zone layout right and the system is invisible; get them wrong and you're living with it.
We install architectural speakers — in-ceiling and in-wall — driven by Sonos Amp or Port, with each zone doing something sensible on its own. Kitchen and patio as one zone, primary bedroom as another, so the house isn't forced into playing one thing everywhere.
In new construction and remodels we pull the speaker wire at rough-in, which costs almost nothing at that stage and is expensive to add later. In finished homes we retrofit: cut clean, fish the runs, and the bracket hides the opening.

Where installs usually go wrong
- Speakers placed for ceiling symmetry rather than where people sit
- Undersized wire on long runs, costing volume and low end
- One amp channel asked to drive too many pairs of speakers
- Outdoor speakers on interior-rated wire and hardware
- No conduit or pull string left for anything added later
Common questions
Can you install in-ceiling speakers in a finished home?
Yes. We fish the wire and cut only the speaker openings — the bracket and grille cover the cut, so patching is rarely needed.
How many zones do I need?
Most homes land on three to five: kitchen and living, primary bedroom, patio, and sometimes a basement or office. Each zone needs its own amp channel, which is what drives the equipment cost.
Sonos Amp or a receiver?
Sonos Amp if you want the whole house on one app with reliable multi-room sync. A receiver still makes sense for a dedicated theatre room, and the two coexist fine.
Can it play with my Lutron lighting?
Yes. Scenes can set lights and music together — we configure that as part of the install where you want it.
